Moris is from Cuba, the Caribbean island with sugar-white beaches and velvet-green tobacco fields. An avid traveler and successful entrepreneur with a constant desire for learning, Moris has lived in Havana- Cuba, Lviv-Ukraine, Newfoundland- Canada, and Lake Worth-USA. Moris has a Master’s degree in Math & Physics from the Ukrainian University of Lviv and also a Bachelor degree in Business-Accounting from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. An accounting professional with over 25 years of experience, Moris’ role is to help provide the best possible support to our staff and vendors, while remaining focused on outstanding customer service. Moris loves classical music and gardening, and helping family and friends is a big part of his life.
Darius is originally from Detroit Michigan, home of Motown Records, where he began his journey for marketing success! After earning Marketing & Computer Graphics Degrees from Purdue University and multiple certifications in the digital marketing field, Darius advanced through a career of awards & honors in many business verticals. Darius oversees the Nada’s Italy marketing department and with his combination of talents and passion for all things marketing plays a vital role in the growth of the company. He is an avid philanthropist and member of local as well as international non-profit organizations and is one of South Florida's Top 40 under 40 professionals.
Martina is a native Italian from Padova and has lived in the USA since the late 90’s. As a trained chemist, Martina worked in the Italian leather business for many years and then in academic research in Boston. Looking for a new lifestyle and experience, she relocated to Charlotte with her husband in 2011. In the Spring of 2013 Martina joined Nada’s team to develop Nada’s Italy ByDesign program to provide custom travel itineraries and trip packages for our clients. Martina enjoys “wearing multiple hats” and diving into diverse projects that keep her in tune with her passion for travel, design, and metaphysical sciences.
Jessica was born in Messina, Sicily and spent several years in Pistoia, Tuscany, and Rome. She relocated to Florida in 2010 and has worked in the travel and hospitality industry for over 15 years. As a hobby, she is currently pursuing a degree in psychology at Florida Atlantic University. With her role as Reservations Manager at Nada's Italy, she looks forward to sharing her knowledge of Italy’s culture, language, food, traditions and history with our travelers. When she is not working, Jessica spends all of her free time with her young daughter Demetra, who is her real "boss".
Betty was born in the Southern Italian region of Puglia (or Apulia in English, the heel of Italy’s boot!) and lived in the Friuli region up in the North East (way up north!). Besides being perfectly bilingual in Italian and English, Betty holds a degree in translation studies, including Spanish and Portuguese. Betty supports Martina with Nada's Italy ByDesign services. She is very detail oriented, sweet, and has a warm, accommodating personality. In her words: "I enjoy cycling in my spare time, especially through green ways, and spending time with my family, my dog and my soul mate."
Simona was born and raised in Catania, Sicily. Few years after she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures she moved to United States and jumped into the travel business right away and worked as a travel agent for almost 15 years. She loves to share the love for her country, its culture, the smells, and the food with all the travelers who enjoy exploring the world as much as she does. Simona is part of the ByDesign team and the World Travel Program at Nada’s Italy. On her days off, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her two children and dog.
Susan is from Michigan and has lived in Charlotte since 1997, when she, her husband Mike, and their three daughters relocated. She has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing and worked as a nurse for many years. Susan is also an artist who loves to cook, travel, and create! She is passionate about her family and her Italian heritage. Her husband is also Italian and together they continue the traditions that were handed down to them. Of course, it primarily centers around food and sharing family time together. In 2008, Susan and her husband took a cooking class from Nada, a gift from their daughters. After this first interaction, Susan was “hooked on Nada’s Italy” and has followed her many adventures. She is an enthusiastic, positive, and happy person with a permanent smile on her face – we’re proud to have her on the Nada’s Team, as she helps our customers plan their perfect trip to Italy.
Jesse grew up in Northeastern Maryland, and has spent much of his life traveling around the Eastern United States with his family. In 2014, while studying Italian in Orlando, this on-the-go lifestyle inspired him to sell his car, pack up his belongings and travel to Italy to tutor English to Italian children. After eight years of Italian Language studies, Jesse speaks the language fluently. He loves to share his passion for Italy and its language, culture, and way of life with everyone he meets. Jesse supports Martina, Simona, and Betty with Nada’s Italy ByDesign services, and lovingly creates a Welcome Box for every traveler on Nada’s Italy tours!.
Angela is originally from New York, now married with two kids, three dogs and living in Florida. Besides her great love of animals, she has always had a strong connection with her Italian roots. Her passion for Italy grew when she got the opportunity to visit Italy and meet her family on the Amalfi Coast. This trip ignited her desire to learn Italian and she decided to pursue a degree in Italian studies at Florida Atlantic University. Working for Nada's Italy is a dream come true, it allows her passion for Italy to flourish and gives her the opportunity to share that passion with others.
Born in Lake Como, Italy and raised most of his life in South Florida, Nicolo speaks Italian, English, and French fluently. He went to The George Washington University and majored in International Affairs part of the Elliott School of International Affairs, where he concentrated in Conflict and Security and minored in Sociocultural Anthropology and History. After living in DC, he decided to take his expertise in golf to the next level by turning professional. He is an avid golfer, loves to swim in his spare time, and soccer enthusiast and his favorite soccer team is Inter Milano. He enjoys traveling, spending time with his three brothers and two sisters, and learning languages and cultures from around the world. He is a highly motivated and intelligent, well-traveled, outgoing, and capable person ready and willing to do whatever it takes to show his potential.
