Exceptional Tour Leader!

Recently went on Nada's Northern Delights tour. It was amazing - a great itinerary and an outstanding guide, Marco! Marco's attention to detail was the best and because of his extra effort, the trip was flawless. He is truly an exceptional tour leader.

Above and Beyond!

I would just like to give a special ‘shout out’ to our wonderful tour director, Marco Scaglioni.

Sometimes the unexpected happens and you just have to figure out how to get through it. After two years of planning for our second Nada’s Italy tour, I had the misfortune to pull a hamstring on our first day in Milan.
Marco was already dealing with a lost luggage problem and we hadn’t even had our first transfer to Lake Como!! What were we in for???

Not to worry. Marco is a treasure. Ever the professional, he just pivoted to accommodate.

A big thank you to Marco for:
helping to arrange a room at the Hotel Darsena with a shower for easier access
going to the Farmacia with Ron to get supplies to reduce pain and swelling
allowing me to reduce or modify the number of activities so I could rest
and for arranging transportation for 2 short upward climbs at the agriturismo restaurant near Lake Como and the one in Langhe
Marco went above and beyond what is expected. I was able to fully enjoy this wonderful country Italy.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Didn't Want to Leave!

Absolutely loved our Northern Delights tour - not sure if it was the food, wine, cultural experiences or our Tour Director, Marco, but this tour far exceeded our expectations. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to take another Nada's Italy tour!

Outstanding experience on Northern Delights tour. Very well organized. Amazing food, accommodations, and experiences. Went truffle hunting, took a train to the Alps, explored the Italian lakes--definitely a trip to remember.

SUPERB!

As always ... SUPERB and above expectations. I am looking forward to the future trips ... keep them coming. Marcello enthusiastically cared for us throughout the beauty and glorious food of those stunning northern areas of Lake Como and Piedmonte. Turin was a bonus, so interesting.

Family!

Nada's tours are sooo generous. The guides are absolutely excellent with good senses of humor and make you feel like a big family. We learned so much about the history and traditions of each area we visited. I can't wait to go on another Nada's tour. Thank you Nada for your generosity in giving us little gifts on arrival in each location.
