Wonderful Family Experience!

Traveling abroad with my parents was a great experience. Orvietto, the castle with the cooking class and wine tasting, and the rooftop bar in Florence were my favorites.

Knowledgeable and Friendly Staff!!

Nada's Italy truly does have "Tours for people who don't go on tours." The knowledgeable and friendly staff, both in the U.S. and Italy, made us feel special and not as if we were on a tour. From our first contact with Nada's months before out trip, until our farewell in Venice, it was a great experience. I recommend Nada's Italy enthusiastically and without reservation.

Can't Say Enough!

I cannot say enough great things about Nada's Italy and the Italian Treasures tour package. The small intimate group setting is perfect and the VIP treatment provided is above and beyond expectation. We really felt at home very quickly in a country that we had never been too before and our tour leader, Marco, was just about the best tour leader we have ever had. The itinerary is jam-packed full of history, beautiful scenery, and culture that you instantly fall in love with Italy. There is the perfect mixture of tour time and free time that we never felt hurried or rushed. Nada provided superb meals that really immerse you into the regional cultures of Italy. I can honestly say we will never view Italian food the same again as the meals in America just do not compare to the splendor of Italian cuisine. Really, I cannot say enough good things about Nada's Italy and this tour. We are anxious to be able to return in the near future for another tour.

Interesting Destinations

The destinations were all interesting and so different. We cannot praise our tour leader Christina Bastiani enough. Her knowledge was incredible, her leadership smooth and seemed effortless, attention to each traveler's needs was complete and carefully imparted. In short, Christina was our Italian Treasure. f you travel to Italy, you owe it to yourself to travel with Nada. Our experience was incomparable and our only complaint that the days went by too fast.

Exceptional Personal Attention!

Everything about the tour company and the trip exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide and city guides for Rome, Florence and Venice were fantastic, knowledgeable and personable. The itinerary we experienced was exactly as it was outlined in the tour's advertisement. The combination of planned activities and free time were a perfect balance. The trip pre-planning suggestions were detailed and very helpful, as this was our first trip together overseas. Our hotels in each city were accommodating and helpful. Nada's Italy Tours went above and beyond in making sure all the details for lodging, food, entertainment were beyond anything we could imagine. As a bonus, we became friends with our fellow group members. We would highly recommend Nada's Italy Tours to anyone wanting to experience Italy with the exceptional personal attention they provide.

50th Anniversary

Our charming and gifted teacher guided us through the ages in Italy, as we went from Rome to Florence to Venice. We stayed in classy little hotels that were convenient to the city life, ate the treats of Italy at wonderful little restaurants, and had "surprises" along the way. A special treat for us was the guides asking a priest in the Vatican to bless us on our 50th anniversary. Another was the special dinner arrangements she made for us.There was personal attention to each of the travelers, and we all want to take our next tour of Italy with her.

Dream Came True!

My husband and I dreamed of taking a trip to Italy for many years. We finally had the opportunity and made our plans. Planning a 2-week vacation to a country we'd never been was a bit overwhelming. Nada's Italy was recommended to us so we made an appointment to discuss our plans. To say they were helpful is an understatement. They helped us put together a fantastic week of "must see" tours. We had their driver meet us at the hotel to drive us to the city where a guide met us. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and even recommended the best restaurants. Not having to wait in long lines was an added bonus. Nada's helped us plan tours in Rome and Florence. We loved Italy so much and we hope to someday go back. Nada's Italy will be our first call when that day comes. Grazie Nada!!

The tour director and the city tour guides were outstanding. Their knowledge of the country and the history of the cities brought to life the many sites that we visited. The accommodations and travel arrangements were first class. The food was great and really provided us with the cuisine of each part of the country. We are already trying to decide on our next trip with Nada's Italy.

Vacation of a Lifetime!

We had a wonderful experience with Nada's Italy! We did Italian Treasures in June 2016. Wow - Italy was breathtaking, the food was amazing, and there is so much culture to absorb.
We maximized our time in Italy and made planning super easy by traveling with Nada's Italy. We LOVED our tour guide. She shared so much about the country, cued us in on the things not to miss, and helped us tailor our experience. And, we enjoyed traveling with the other 6 people in our group.
My spouse and I 100% recommend Nada's Italy. In fact, we would love to take a future vacation with Nada's Italy - Amalfi Coast, anyone?!

30th Wedding Anniversary!

We had been planning a trip to Italy for years to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary when my husband found Nada Italy Tours. We are so thankful that we went on the Italian Treasures Tour, because not only is it a wonderful tour if it’s your 1st time in Italy, it was truly the best vacation we have ever taken. The trip was well balanced between cities and country, group visits to museums and historical sights, and the appropriate amount of down time to just wander and enjoy the sights as a couple. Our group was small, only 12, which was a perfect size to meet people and enjoy your time with them since it was more intimate than a large tour group, which we said we would never do. Our tour guide Cristina Bastiani was outstanding and every detail of the trip was well planned and managed by her and the additional guides and drivers she had for us in each city. I would highly recommend Nada Italy Tours to anyone who wants to take a wonderful vacation and not worry about a thing!

Extraordinary Experience!

I went on the Italian Treasures tour with two of my friends in the fall of 2014.  We were absolutely pleased with everything: Hotel, food, transportation, and guides. Our main tour guide was Clarissa and she was perfect. Clarissa was always there to help us with any of our needs, she was professional and very knowledgeable and just a down right nice person!  Everything explained and promised in the brochures were provided. The tour met and exceeded our expectations. I recommend Nada's Italy tours for those who need or would like a tour without large groups and huge buses. Also, with Nada's tour because the groups are small, you can see, taste and explore, the specialties of a specific region.“

Thanks for a wonder trip experience

It was a pleasure spending time with you our first night in Rome and wanted to follow up and say thanks for a wonder trip experience.
Everything you explained in your brochure was accurate so we had a clear expectation of the flow for the trip…more important, we want to compliment Cristina on all she did to ensure we maximized everything there was to do…at our pace…in Rome, Florence and Venice.  Cristina did a wonderful job managing the “group”…explaining the sights, history, bypassing long lines…she made it all work and a big thank you to you both!
We plan to take another trip in the next two years and may try to assemble the same group….the chemistry was excellent between our 12 travelers, everyone had fun and got along and this wouldn’t have happened without such a well planned itinerary and coordinator like Cristina.
Great work…thanks again.

Terry and I just returned from Nada’s 9/5 Italian Treasure tour. We had an amazing time from the moment we met to the day we had to say goodbye. Each city was special in its own way, every restaurant chosen unique in its specialties of the region, each activity culturally and historically informative. What made the trip perfect was our guide Cristina Bastiani. Her love and passion for Italy is evident in everything she says and does. She is hard working, friendly, caring, very knowledgeable and sweet. We looked forward to seeing her everyday and consider her our friend.

Best trip I have ever taken

I was constantly pleasantly surprised. Florence was best, Rome was second, then Venice. I really liked Orvieto and Sienna. Orvieto for the shopping and plaza. Sienna for the quirkiness of it all. San Gimignano had great restaurants and was fascinating. Antonella made two 12 person dinner reservations for the group at our request. Those were enjoyable since the group got along well. For those we got to pick food that we wanted to have again. I am astonished that I did not gain weight since I ate so well and with multiple dishes and wine.
