(Itinerary is subject to change with or without notice. Sequence of day trips may vary. Final itinerary will be given upon arrival.) "BLD" indicates which meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) are included each day.

Friday Day 1 - Benvenuto! Welcome to amazing Italy!!

Arrival in Rome - check in hotel and get some rest in what the Romans called ‘Roma Caput Mundi’ (Rome, Capital of the World). Start the trip of a lifetime in one of the world’s most beautiful cities! Stay in a historical aristocratic palazzo, turned into a luxury hotel, located just a few steps away from the elegant Via Veneto, the Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Fountain. You’ll be in the heart of great dining and shopping, and close to some of the major historical sites. Start your journey through ancient times with a local Roman guide. Besides walking by many sites, your afternoon will also include a panoramic view of the city by private transportation through some of the city’s most famous landmarks: the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, a baroque jewel, the Pantheon (meaning “Temple of all the Gods”), the best preserved of all ancient Roman buildings, and Piazza Navona, among many others. Mingle with your travel mates over dinner at a local’s favorite featuring local delicacies! Over-night stay in Rome.
Dinner.

Saturday Day 2 - L’arte nei Secoli: Art through the Ages

Accompanied by a local Roman guide we’ll enter the Vatican City, where we’ll visit the impressive St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums, which will include entrance to the head-tilting and jaw-dropping Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel. Savor the rest of the afternoon and evening on your own. With so many nice boutiques and plenty of opportunities, why not enjoy some shopping?
Breakfast, Lunch.

Sunday Day 3 - La Gloria dei Gladiatori: Gladiators’ Glory

After breakfast, you’ll discover the splendors of the classic Roman Empire! Travel back in time, gazing at gorgeous sites during our walk with an expert local guide. We will then walk along the ancient pavement, which crosses the evocative ruins of the Roman Forum, the Curia, the Reggia. You will then be able to admire the Temple of Vesta, the Arch of Titus and the Arch of Costantine. The tour will continue with the visit of the massive structure of the Colosseum (internal visit). Enjoy a leisurely afternoon and dinner on your own.
Breakfast, Lunch.

Monday Day 4 - Incredibile Rinascimento: Incredible Renaissance

Check-out from hotel and head up to Florence by private transportation. Lunch along the way in Orvieto, a beautiful hilltop town in Umbria, founded by the Etruscan civilization over two thousand years ago. Arrival in Florence in the mid-afternoon. Check-in, relax, refresh, then enjoy a private walking tour through the historical streets of Florence, guided by an expert local guide who will show you the main sites, churches, and shopping areas that Florence is known for. Your guide will also take you to the Galleria dell’Accademia to see Michelangelo’s David up close and personal! (Entrance fee & reservation included).
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Tuesday Day 5 - Tra Castelli e Torri: Among Castles and Towers

San Gimignano, our first stop, is an absolutely astonishing example of walled Medieval hilltop town, also known for its dry white wine, Vernaccia and its colorful local crafts: hand-painted pottery, alabaster, olive wood items, and many more. Enjoy plenty of free time and lunch on your own. Quick drive by Monteriggioni and the rest of the evening in amazing Siena, where you have free time to explore the town and visit its amazing Cathedral. Group dinner in Siena.
Breakfast, Dinner.

Wednesday Day 6 - Chianti Classico & the Black Rooster

Morning drive through the soft-shaped, serene hills of Chianti, with a stop in one of its most picturesque villages: Montefioralle. Then enjoy an extraordinary experience in an 11th-Century Castle. A sommelier will take us on a journey into the finest Chianti Classico paired with a tasty antipasto. Then a little shopping and gelato in Greve in Chianti is a must before we head back to Florence.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Thursday Day 7 - L’arte nei Secoli: Art through the Ages

Are you ready to have some fun and a hands-on experience with the delicious Tuscan cuisine?! Learn to make classic recipes during a fun cooking class, followed by group lunch (which by then, you will have earned!). Enjoy the rest of the afternoon for yourself, shopping, or exploring some of the extraordinary museums. Dinner is on your own tonight in Florence.
Breakfast, Lunch.

Friday Day 8 - Incantevole Venezia: Spellbinding Venice

After breakfast, we say “Ciao, ciao!” to Florence and make our way to Northern Italy. A sort of “obligated” detour will make us stop in Treviso (because it’s too beautiful to miss!), an absolute gem, often overlooked even by the most savvy travelers. We’ll have a group lunch, then continue on to sumptuous Venezia, also known as La Serenissima, where we’ll be escorted to our hotel for check-in and luggage drop-off. Group dinner in a nearby restaurant with local Venetian specialties.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Saturday Day 9 - Storia e Mistero: History and Mystery

This morning we’ll meet a private local guide, who will take us on a unique walking tour of historic Venice, telling us about traditions, culture, and amusing facts of Venetian life through the ages. The walking tour ends in St. Mark’s Square, from here you can enjoy the rest of the afternoon and dinner on your own. If you need suggestions, the hotel’s front-desk will also be available to help you with reservations for restaurants, concerts, and events.
Breakfast, Lunch.

Sunday Day 10 - L’arte nei Secoli: Art through the Ages

This morning we are taking a trip to the Island of Murano by private water-taxi, with a private visit to a traditional glass factory, where glass masters have been creating the most intricate designs for chandeliers, vases, and jewelry for over five centuries. Free time to explore and shop around. We continue to Burano, a colorful quaint fishing village that appears to be worlds away from bustling Venice. Burano is very known for exquisitely hand-embroidered linens. Burano is still a small community where time stands still, where life is still about family, friendship, and solidarity. It is truly one of the most amazing places you’ll ever visit. Lunch in a local eatery in Burano. Dinner is on your own so you can enjoy some free time on your last night in Venice - make it a special one!
Breakfast, Lunch.

Monday Day 11 - Arrivederci! See you next time!

Hopefully you will stay longer and explore other beautiful cities of this amazing country! We hope you enjoyed your stay with us and wish to have you back soon. Ciao!
