Hotel Ai Due Fanali - A 3-star quaint hotel in Venice. SO easy to get to from the Train Station. Very charming and romantic.
Hotel Bologna - A nice 4-star hotel located in Mestre, just outside of Venice. If you're flying in and out of Venice, this may be the practical solution for you. You can easily take the train to the city and back to the hotel. And then, just catch a cab to the airport.
Associazione Bed & Breakfast - Usually B&Bs aren't much less expensive than regular hotels, but sometimes you can find good deals. This website will connect you to the Florence directory, but you can also link to other cities.
